Cost Conscious Couples Buying Wedding Gifts With Clubcard Points Loophole.
Couples desperate to try and save cash have come up with and ingenious way of saving money. One couple known only as Mrs D on an internet wedding forum described how she saved money on her wedding ring by exchanging empty inkjet cartridges at Tesco for clubcard points which can be further exchanged at Goldsmiths for discounts off wedding rings.
Mrs D bought 90 empty ink cartridges from Ebay for £50, and exchanged these at Tesco for 9000 points equivalent to £90. This would be a tidy profit of £40 in itself however Mrs D discovered that Tesco club card points are worth quadruple the amount at Goldsmiths, thus Mrs D saved £360 off of her £1200 wedding ring just by recycling some old cartridges!

08-08-08 Was this your lucky day?
August 8th 2008 marked the beginning of the Beijing Olympics and the number 8 is attributed as being an extremely lucky number, in fact the Chinese pay over the odds just to have the lucky digit in their phone number and registration plates. Many couples in the UK have flocked to the Church and registry offices to "tie the knot" and just about every baby born today was miraculously born on the 08-08-08 8:08 to the minute. Well if this is true we will be working into the late hours of the evenings and weekends creating all of those engraved gifts!

A bit of Spring Cleaning.....
Well it's certainly been a busy month and we have been doing quite a bit of "Spring Cleaning" and have some new great products to show off this month which I'm sure will be an instant hit. We have a new range of unique wedding favours arrive this week which are very stylish and a little "posh" at the same time. These will be a brilliant addition to any wedding breakfast and will add that extra special touch to make someone's wedding a little different from the multitude of weddings people go to year after year.
